Stob Glas
Looking Down from Stob Glas (Left) and Looking towards An Caisteal
I had decided this time to spend a few days camping in the area with a couple of friends at Bein Glas farm at Inverarnan, situated a few miles south of Crianlarich. During this wee holiday on the Wednesday we had decided to try a hill walk. I had fancied An Caisteal, mainly because it was one of the few Munros in the area I was still to climb. The route that was planned from the camp site took us longer than we had anticipated. We ended up ascending Stob Glas is a hill measuring 708m in height, which took us about 4 hours. The terrain was quite boggy in places although it did stay clear enough to get a good picture of An Caisteal.
